We currently have an immediate opening for an Inside Sales\Account Manager, who will be responsible for providing value to our customers and suppliers. This is accomplished by ensuring that our customer's goals and objectives are obtained. It is important that the Account Manager has the utmost integrity and exercise proper judgment and discretion when dealing with our customers and suppliers. The candidate will also be required to expand our customer base.
The Inside Sales\Account Manager is responsible for:
• Achieving yearly volume and financial budget requirements
• Cold-Calling potential customers
• Supporting and assisting Target Transportation teammates when needed or requested by management
• Utilizing resources and business information to continue proper service to customers and suppliers
• Demonstrating strong leadership skills in the development of work environment, which promotes open communication and teamwork to achieve business objectives
• Communicating in a positive manner with all areas and levels - Customers, Suppliers, Target Transportation Management, and Teammates
• Completing other tasks as assigned
• Negotiate rates with customers and suppliers
• Develop solid relationships with customers and suppliers
• React quickly to service issues and resolve with appropriate action with professionalism and a high sense of urgency

The successful candidate will have:
• Experience in Transportation, Trucking\Dispatch and/or 3rd party Logistics is an asset but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Inside or Outside sales experience
• Sense of urgency, attention to detail and ability to prioritize required
• Proven planning, organizational and analytical skills
• Customer Service Driven
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
